Hi I’m Aamina Hussain!

I’m currently a junior at the University of Michigan School of Information studying UX Design and Research.

My career story

I've always been a UX Designer, even before I knew it had a name. UX allows me to combine my love for art and design with a desire to create meaningful change.

My love for art and design has been with me since my earliest memories of drawing on my mom's grocery lists and redesigning my dolls’ clothes. Equally important are my experiences giving back to my community, which made me realize that digital solutions are the best way to create change. My passion for making life easier for others(often inspired by my own struggles with complex technology) has caused many a heated dinner table discussion on the improvements needed to be made to various platforms, apps, systems- you name it. Now, equipped with my UX skills, I can turn my visions into realities.

This is why I am driven by my passion for crafting community-centric designs that break barriers and make the world a more user-friendly place for everyone.

Outside of Design I am
